(“Zaplox”), which offers hotels, resorts, and casinos a contact-free mobile guest journey for a safe and engaging guest experience, announced that Arp-Hansen Hotel Group is expanding the cooperation with Zaplox and has signed a new agreement for Zaplox Mobiles Guest App Premium 3 and Zaplox Self-service Kiosk for Wakeup Aarhus in Denmark. The new agreement, which includes 315 rooms, is Zaplox’s sixth installation with Denmark’s market-leading hotel group.
Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, one of Denmark’s largest hotel chains with 13 hotels, two luxury hostels, and a total of more than 5,000 rooms, has already implemented Zaplox solutions at several of its properties. Steel House Copenhagen, Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstorffsgade, Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade and Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade – with a total of approximately 1,900 rooms are using Zaplox’s guest solutions. The new luxury hostel, Next House Copenhagen with 1,650 beds and 433 rooms was the latest property to go live with Zaplox’s kiosk and mobile guest app in December, 2021.
The Zaplox kiosk solution will enable Wakeup Aarhus to offer guests a contact-free check-in and checkout. Guests can check in on the self-service kiosks located in the lobby and will also be able to print physical key cards. In addition, guests will have the option to use the Zaplox Mobile Guest App for check-in and checkout with the use of a mobile key. Via the app, guests will also be able to access hotel information and special offers. As a result, both the hotel and the guest will benefit from a smoother process with less waiting in line.
