After downloading Zaplox Mobile Key App, guests no longer have to handle physical keys or plastic key cards, but can use their own phone to unlock the hotel room door and access other hotel facilities such as the gym or conference rooms. Unlike plastic key cards that are easily misplaced or lost, the mobile key is safely stored inside the app with several layers of security.
Zaplox Mobile Key app works with BLE locks from the leading manufacturers and does not require integration with the hotel’s PMS.
By working closely with other lock solution providers, Zaplox offers seamless integration with leading BLE locks. This translates into a fast and cost-efficient deployment for your hotel.
The mobile key app can be used to communicate important pre-arrival messages via push notifications, including information about the hotel’s safety protocols, pre-screenings, and other practical details that contribute to a smooth arrival.
This feature is only available guests who have downloaded the app pre-arrival. Guests who haven’t downloaded the app yet, receive a pre-stay message, prompting them to download the app. If the guest still hasn’t downloaded the app, he or she will be prompted via SMS or email to download the app when checking in at the hotel.
The app’s chat function* can be used to deliver high-quality, personalized service without in-person contact between staff and guests throughout the guest journey. This way, service requests can quickly be resolved and guests can schedule spa treatments, request extra towels, or make dinner reservations directly in the app.

Premium 1:
Arrival lists are imported from the PMS and the mobile key is issued from Zaplox Portal and distributed via the Mobile Key App.
Premium 2 & 3:
The mobile key is automatically issued when the guests checks in via the Zaplox app. If needed, the mobile key and additional keys connected to the same reservation, can be issued from the Zaplox portal.
