Hotel Hugo, a sophisticated art-industrial landmark hotel with 122 rooms located in the trendy SoHo neighborhood in New York City rolls out a mobile guest app, providing a contact-free mobile guest journey with a focus on guest safety and convenience. Now, guests will be able to use their phone to check-in/checkout, unlock the hotel room door, and communicate with hotel staff.
Hotel Hugo teamed up with Zaplox, which offers hotels and casinos a contact-free mobile guest journey that enables guests to skip the lines and go straight to their hotel room and unlock the door with a digital key. The mobile key eliminates the need to handle plastic key cards and reduces interaction with the front desk and other hotel guests in the lobby. The app has been customized to match the Hotel Hugo brand and is fully integrated with Oracle Opera PMS and the lock system from ASSA ABLOY. In addition, integration with the ALICE Hotel Operations Platform chat functionality enables guests to request other concierge services directly in the app.
