Zaplox AB (publ) (“Zaplox”), which offers hotels and casinos a contact-free mobile guest journey for a safe and engaging guest experience, announced that the company will deliver mobile keys in partnership with Agilysys to the Mount Airy Casino Resort, a AAA Four Diamond Resort with 283 rooms in Mount Pocono, PA in the United States.
The agreement with Mount Airy Casino Resort is created in partnership with Agilysys, which is a leading PMS provider for hotels, casinos and resorts in North America. Zaplox’s key centric SDK has been used to add mobile key functionality to Agilysys’ mobile guest app, rGuest® Express Mobile and integration with the Agilysys PMS. The Zaplox mobile key solution also integrates with the hotel’s electronic door locks from ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, providing a seamless user experience for the guests.
The partnership between Agilysys and Zaplox enables Mount Airy Casino Resort to offer guests a contactless mobile guest journey with mobile check-in/checkout and mobile keys, available directly on the guest’s smartphone. Hotel guests no longer have to wait in line at the front desk to check in and get a room key, but can avoid the crowds in the lobby and go straight to their room and unlock the door with their phone.
The mobile guest journey gives the hotel an opportunity to streamline its resources, and at the same time, maintain or in some cases exceed previous service levels. Through the app, the hotel is able to promote revenue-generating services such as dinner reservations, spa treatments, and golf packages to improve its profitability.

According to the partner agreement between Agilysys and Zaplox, a mobile key order is generated to Zaplox every time Agilysys signs a new customer contract for rGuest Express Mobile. Once the order is received, Zaplox invoices a start-up fee and an ongoing monthly fee per door is added once the solution is in operation. The Mount Airy Casino Resort is forecasted at approximately SEK 424,000 if the mobile key solution remains in full operation for seven years (which is an average lifespan of a hotel lock). The agreement does not have any guaranteed volume or revenue levels.
