Zaplox Delivers Contact-Free Mobile Guest Journey to Historic Jefferson Hotel in Richmond Virginia

Contactless check-in and mobile keys help boost guest safety with a continued focus on top-notch personal service

The Jefferson Hotel, a 5-star luxury hotel with 186 rooms in central Richmond, Virginia, USA, has teamed up with Zaplox to offer a mobile app for contactless check-in and checkout, and mobile keys replace plastic key cards when the hotel reopens in July.

Guests staying at the Jefferson can skip the lines at the front desk and instead use their phone to check-in and unlock the door by holding up the phone to the electronic door lock. In addition, the app is an effective way to deliver promotions and information about hotel amenities and things to do in the area. The app’s chat feature allows guests to communicate with the hotel staff to make dinner and spa reservations, request room service, and get general information.

The Zaplox mobile guest app has been fully integrated with the Oracle Opera PMS and dormakaba lock system.
