Director of Customer Success for North America with strong technical experience

Zaplox, a market innovator of the mobile guest journey and mobile key technology, is reinforcing our team in the U.S. with the hiring of a Director of Customer Success. This is a dynamic and important position for Zaplox’s international growth plans and we are looking for a dedicated person that can take on the role of onboarding and delivering our suite of mobile technology solutions to hotel chains and independent hotels throughout North America.

As the Director of Customer Success, you will collaborate closely with Zaplox Development team, why experience in system development is essential. Your role will be to proactively work with the onboarding of customers and build relationships during project deliveries, industry events, and tradeshows. You will be responsible for developing and driving the implementation of Zaplox services in the North American market. In your role, you will plan and run workshops, build project plans, improve delivery processes, coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, run end-to-end testing (smoke test) customer training, drive usage, and work proactively with customer retention. You will collaborate and work closely with partners, customers and suppliers as well as together with the Zaplox Sales team in North America as a technical pre-sales expert when needed. Finally, it will be this person’s responsibility to maintain customer relationships and communicate project progress and track every opportunity and communication in our CRM. The position will report to Zaplox’s Chief Customer Officer.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

For this role, you need to have extensive experience as a project manager in the hotel industry and a technical background. It is an advantage if you have experience in running SaaS or IT projects for hotels, resorts, and casinos and a proven track record of delivering projects to customers who want to hit the ground running fast. You have experience in conducting meetings and presentations to C-level executives to help Zaplox maximize customer success and to meet revenue potential. Finally, you should have an entrepreneurial mindset, be extremely self-motivated for success, and feel comfortable working in an unsupervised environment.

WE BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE;

  • Extensive experience in project managing large and complex projects
  • Experience selling technology solutions to the hospitality industry.
  • University degree in business, computer science, information systems, hospitality & tourism, or applicable work experience.
  • Independent and a self-starter personality
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Computer literacy and a strong interest in modern technology
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Ability to travel within the U.S.
  • Located in Eastern US time or Central US time (mandatory)
