The hotel is set to open in April of 2021.

At Arlo Midtown, Zaplox will be integrated with Oracle Opera PMS, dormakaba locks and Shift4 payment system. Hotel guests will be able to use the hotel’s custom branded app for contactless check-in, checkout and mobile payment, and they can use their own phone to unlock the hotel room door.

Arlo Midtown will be the third of Arlo Hotels’ properties to offer a mobile guest journey. Both Arlo SoHo with 325 rooms and Arlo NoMad with 249 rooms in New York City have been offering a mobile guest experience since their opening in 2018.

By offering a mobile guest app, Arlo Hotels can meet the modern hotel guest’s expectation of a contactless mobile guest journey while offering a future-ready, more personalized hotel experience.

Guests staying at the Smokey Mountain Resorts hotels Country Cascade Water Park Resort (236 rooms) and the Resort at Governors Crossing (225 rooms) will be able to enjoy the conveniences of a mobile guest journey, allowing them to use their phone to check-in, unlock the door, checkout, review and pay their hotel bill –directly via the hotel app delivered by Zaplox. Guests will also be able to book their next stay in the same app.

In addition to a mobile guest journey, both hotels will also offer the option to check-in and encode a key card via Zaplox self-service kiosk in the hotel lobby. The kiosk can also be used to look up general hotel information, and at checkout, guests can use the kiosk to review and pay for the hotel bill.

By offering the choice of the mobile app and the self-service kiosk, guests staying at the Smoky Mountain Resorts can choose how and when they want to check-in and engage with the hotel, and even better, they can skip the lines at the front desk.

Zaplox ‘s solutions have been fully integrated with the hotel’s property management system, Maestro PMS from Northwind as well as with the lock systems from dormakaba and SALTO systems. In addition, Zaplox has also been integrated with the Shift4 payment system to enable payment processing via the app and kiosk.
